The latter property makes stainless steel a hygienic option. The stainless steel pipes and tubes which are used for decorative purposes have a chromium percentage as high as between 24-26 percent, and a nickel content range between 19-22 percentage to ensure that the final product has durability and an unmatchable gleam. Such pipes and tubes are used as furnishings like handrails on stairs, elevator interior rails, curtain pelmets, and frames for glass partitions. They are also excellent for use in high-end washrooms.
